CHAPTER ACTIVITIES

The Cape Cod and Islands Chapter offers a variety of activities to its Chapter members and guests. It meets monthly five times a year to conduct business, receive new members, honor current members for their achievements, and generally welcomes a guest speaker. The Chapter honors Revolutionary War graves by “marking” them with a special SAR brass medallion. In addition, a group of Chapter members have been trained to clean cemetery headstones, focusing their efforts to clean the stones of Revolutionary War patriots.

The Chapter is also an active participant in the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (NSSAR) and the Massachusetts Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (MASSAR) events.
